Our take

The P1S made fast, enclosed, reliable printing affordable, and it has only gotten cheaper since launch. The 256mm-cube build area, 500mm/s CoreXY motion and near-silent operation cover the vast majority of hobby and functional work, and the optional AMS adds multicolor later. First-layer calibration is fully automatic and remarkably consistent.

Pros

  • Blazing CoreXY speeds out of the box
  • Enclosed chamber for ABS/ASA
  • AMS multicolor upgrade path
  • Virtually silent operation

Cons

  • No built-in camera (X1 series has one)
  • Cloud features need a Bambu account
  • AMS adds cost for multicolor

Verdict

Still the default recommendation for most buyers — fast, enclosed and reliable, now at a genuinely aggressive price.
