Our take

The AD5X stretches the Adventurer formula toward engineering work: a 300°C hotend sized for PLA-CF and PETG-CF, 600mm/s CoreXY motion, full-auto calibration and an optional IFS unit for four-color printing. The 220mm cube and 3-second nozzle swaps carry over. A sensible mid-point between the 5M and the 5M Pro.

Pros

  • 300°C nozzle — carbon-fiber filaments
  • IFS multicolor option
  • 600mm/s CoreXY, auto calibration
  • Quick-swap hotend system

Cons

  • Open frame in base config
  • 220mm cube build area
  • IFS sold separately

Verdict

The Adventurer for carbon-fiber work — 5M speed with a hotter, more versatile hotend.
